Nursing Faculty Member to Present at State Conference

South University College of Nursing and Public Health faculty member Rosie Taylor, DNP, ANP-BC, GNP has been selected to present a skills workshop at a state conference of nurse practitioners.

Taylor will conduct a three hour skills workshop during the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners annual conference in March. The workshop will center around the treatment of lacerations that range from the minor to the moderately complex. In addition to various suturing procedures, the medicines and antibiotics crucial to wound healing will also be discussed.

Taylor is the assistant program director for the South University, Online Doctor of Nursing Practice program and also serves as an assistant professor of nursing.
