Dr. Margaret Andrews, DNP, RN, LNP, WHNP-BC, FNP-BC, CNE, CDP appointed Assistant Dean to the Graduate Nursing Programs

It is our pleasure to announce the appointment of Dr. Margaret Andrews, DNP, RN, LNP, WHNP-BC, FNP-BC, CNE, CDP, as Assistant Dean to the Graduate Nursing Programs at South University’s campus-based programs. Dr. Andrews joined South University’s Richmond campus in 2014 as the Program Director for the Graduate Nursing Programs and has served as Interim Assistant Dean to the Graduate Nursing Programs since March 2020. In addition to her leadership and academic contributions at South University, she has an extensive clinical background in infectious diseases, women’s health, aesthetics and injections, adult-gerontology, regenerative medicine- specifically stem cell injections and infusions, and medical weight loss. She is board certified by the National Credentialing Center as a women’s health nurse practitioner and by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a family nurse practitioner. Dr. Andrews received certification from the National League of Nursing as a certified nurse educator. We are excited about Dr. Andrews’s new role at South University and the future of the College of Nursing and Public Health.
