The Department of Anesthesia Science in the South University College of Health Professions is pleased to announce that Amy Scroggin, MMSc, CAA, has completed all the necessary requirements to become a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE). Ms. Scroggin is the Assistant Program Director of the Master of Medical Science in Anesthesia Science program on the Savannah campus and has over seven years of experience in anesthesiology simulation and education. The Society for Simulation in Healthcare offers the prestigious CHSE designation to those individuals who complete rigorous training and demonstrate expertise in the growing area of healthcare simulation.

The students in South University’s Anesthesiologist Assistant Programs will directly benefit from Ms. Scroggin’s leadership in advanced healthcare simulation techniques and passion for hands-on learning. Congratulations, Amy!
