South University, West Palm Beach used its annual BBQ in October to celebrate the achievements of several scholarship winners.
The five West Palm Beach students receiving a $1,000 Savannah Community Foundation Scholarship are:
Candace Bennett, Bachelor of Arts in Psychology student
Laura Chaney, Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling student
Bernard Howard, RN to Bachelor of Science in Nursing student
Obainuju Nwaebili, Bachelor of Science in Nursing student
Kerby Jeune, Bachelor of Science in Information Technology student
The BBQ event also featured games, Halloween costume contests, and a fundraiser dunk tank supporting the Savannah Community Foundation Scholarship.
