South University would like to welcome Rick Mendoza as Vice Chancellor for Admissions effective July 6th.
Rick brings over 20 years of admissions and operational experience in higher education to SU. Most recently Rick served as Executive Director for Operations at Westcliff University responsible for admissions, student services, financial aid, career services and international student outreach. He has extensive online and campus admissions leadership experience.
At South University, Rick will have oversight of all admissions activity and results, including our 8 campuses, 3 off-campus instructional sites and online admissions.

Also, South University is excited to announce that Alisa Krouse, Vice Chancellor for Administration and Student Success, will assume operational leadership for the campuses and online effective July 6th. Although she has been working closely with the campus leaders, now the campus presidents and directors will begin reporting directly to her. She will continue to lead our student services and academic operations teams. In this new role, Alisa will be well positioned to lead our student retention efforts. Please congratulate and support Alisa as she transitions to this role.
These changes will help bolster and strengthen two of our three major institutional priorities – student growth and student retention.
