South University, Columbia Doctor of Pharmacy/ Master of Business Administration student presents poster at Student National Pharmaceutical Association National Conference in Charlotte, NC.

Kevin Joly-Brown, South University, Columbia Doctor of Pharmacy/ Master of Business Administration student scheduled to complete his degree in 2019, presented a poster displaying a proposal for a clinical initiative at the Student National Pharmaceutical Association (SNPhA) National Conference in Charlotte, NC.

 The poster consisted of research pertaining to previous student-led clinical initiatives and compared it to the university’s clinical initiative, the implementation of a bilingual student pharmacist in a healthcare system and the benefits it provides.

 At the conference, Joly-Brown was invited to be a part of a new tobacco cessation program hosted by the United Stated Department of Public Health. The program is part of a new initiative that trains various individuals nationally to become ambassadors in their respective communities to host smoking cessation and education programs.

 Joly-Brown holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Georgia.
