The Kappa Psi Delta Omega Chapter at South University, Savannah campus recently sponsored the Tell Every Amazing Lady About Ovarian Cancer (TEAL) Walk Foundation’s fifth Annual Savannah TEAL Walk for the community.
The goal of the TEAL walk is to promote awareness and education of signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer. Early detection is the key to battling ovarian cancer. This event honored survivors, while raising funds for future research. In fact, this year over $20,000 was raised to support the cause. Pharmacy students and faculty served the community by providing screening for hypertension, diabetes, and obesity.
