South University, Columbia alumna LaCresha Mitchum was recently profiled for her work as a warrior against diabetes.
Mitchum serves as a registered nurse/certified diabetes educator/diabetic coordinator at the William Jennings Bryan Dorn VA Medical Center in Columbia, S.C. Mitchum earned her Masters of Science in Nursing Education in 2010 from South University, and also served as a clinical coordinator at the Columbia campus.
