South University, Savannah recently honored the first graduates of its Doctor of Nursing Practice program.
Kasie Moore, Quinton Barnes, Preston Davis, Karen Gibbons-Berry, Sharonda Ivey, and Veronica Mangaza (pictured left to right) finished the Doctor of Nursing Practice program in December 2017. The graduates will be honored at South University commencement ceremonies in June. The cohort began the program in September of 2015.
The cohort also included the very first Doctor of Nursing Practice student, Veronica Gibbons. Gibbons passed away unexpectedly while enrolled in the program, and was honored with her posthumous Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at last year’s commencement ceremony.
