We are so proud of South University School of Pharmacy students Laura D’Alessio-Sands (Class of 2025) and Tiera Fryson (Class of 2026) for being awarded the Top Student Poster at the Georgia Society of Health-System Pharmacists (GSHP) Spring Meeting!
The focus of the project was to highlight the vital role pharmacists play in reducing #healthcare disparities. Their project, “Pharmacist Impact on SGLT2 Inhibitor Prescribing Patterns in Free Clinics Serving Underserved Patients,” was conducted under the mentorship of Dr. Mackenzi Meier and Dr. Chelsea Keedy. #Congratulations to these impressive students and the positive impact they are making on their community!
