Honoring South University QEP’s “Excellence in Academic Resilience Award”

66

Building resilient students requires intentional effort, sustained learning, and a deep commitment to growth. This year, we proudly recognize our university staff and faculty who successfully completed the QEP LMS Training for Shaping Resilient Stingrays, a rigorous professional development journey spanning yearlong training sessions. Through this optional program, participants strengthened their ability to support students academically, emotionally, and socially, with a focus on the five core competencies: self-care, purpose, mindfulness, positive relationships, and self-awareness.

Throughout the training, educators engaged in continuous learning and reflection. Balancing professional responsibilities with long-term development, they demonstrated the very perseverance and adaptability they seek to cultivate in students, colleagues, and university-wide culture. These multi-certificate trainings deepened their understanding of academic resilience and strengthened their capacity to nurture confident, capable learners.

Successfully completing this program represents more than mastering content, it reflects a steadfast commitment to educational excellence and student success. We commend and congratulate all award recipients for their dedication and leadership. Their investment in professional growth will have a lasting impact, shaping resilient students and fostering stronger learning communities for years to come.
