Yasmine Brisbon is a current #PublicHealth student at South University, Columbia and shared that after returning home from the Army, she didn’t plan to attend college. However, after taking a CNA class, she quickly discovered her passion for helping others. “Since then, I’ve worked in healthcare and realized I wanted to make a broader impact in my community. Now, as I near graduation, I plan to pursue a Master’s in Public Health to become a health educator.”
What Yasmine loves most about South University is the consistent support she receives, especially as a veteran. “My courses are always on time, and the counselors regularly check in to ensure I’m doing well. I’m grateful for my time at South University, and while I’m excited for what’s next, I’ll be returning soon to continue my education.”
Wishing Yasmine and all Public Health students a wonderful honorary week and bright future!
