South University, High Point’s recent support for victims of domestic violence was highlighted by the local FOX television affiliate.A group of students organized the first “Domestic Violence Education and Prevention Week” at the campus. The week included guest speakers, self-defense classes, and a donation drive.
Students collected supplies needed by victims who have fled their homes because of abuse. These items included everything from personal toiletry items to school supplies and were donated by students, faculty and staff. To see the television story, please visit:
