Christopher Butler

2010, Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice

South University, West Palm Beach

When U.S. Army veteran Christopher Butler was serving his country, one of his assignments was to the Army’s Criminal Investigation Division. His work earned him, among other honors, awards from the United States Customs Service and The Republic of South Korea for his work on the largest cocaine seizure in the history of South Korea. But his passion for handling criminal investigations didn’t end when he left the military. So, Butler enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice program at South University, West Palm Beach.

“I started my studies in Criminal Justice prior to my military service and needed to complete my degree, Butler explains. “Criminal Justice allowed me to be of service to the community and this nation.”

Butler says the South University, West Palm Beach faculty and staff “were like a close family.”

“I’m thankful for them all,” he says. “South University gave me the educational credentials I needed to get the job advancements and opportunities that have gotten me where I am today in my career field.”

Butler is now the owner and investigations manager at Eagle Eye Investigative Solutions in West Palm Beach, Florida.

“As a small business owner, I am training employees at several corporations, in addition to conducting fraudulent investigations for these same corporations.

“My company is growing so fast, I’m exceeding my projected goals and expectations.”
