In late June, the Medical Assisting students were honored with a reception and an awards and pinning ceremony. Brandie Averett received her honors cord and a certificate for highest GPA. Each of the eight graduates received a special recognition award, such as the “long-needle award” and the “sterile glove award.” Timeka Hall gave a speech reflecting on her time at South University. Graduates received as rose and a gift bag from Linda Reynolds as their family members pinned them.
