| Eight Students Attend Leadership Academy in Atlanta |

SU Montgomery (Winter 2009) - For the fourth consecutive year, students at South University’s Montgomery campus were invited to participate in the Leadership Academy held at the Art Institute of Atlanta. The Leadership Academy is an annual event designed to help students explore their leadership potential by evaluating individual style and talent using unique, interactive assessment techniques.

LaTara Collins – Healthcare Management Amanda Greenhouse – Psychology Jamie Levister – Criminal Justice LaTasha Powe – Business Administration Jennifer Thompson – Physical Therapist Assistant Sophia Dowdell – Healthcare Management Derrick Harris – Healthcare Management Donald Thomas – Business Administration Students attended sessions on “Understanding Your Leadership Style,” “Improving Communication Skills,” and “Transferrable Skills Workshop” to name a few. During the return trip, students were eager to discuss what they could bring back campus: Amanda Greenhouse would like to start an international club and explore different cultures. |
